Joe Matta started Matta Custom Contracting in 1975 specializing in home improvements and building restoration with many prestigious clients including the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 1983, Joe opened St. Charles of the Hudson Valley, in Newburgh, NY, and a few years later, Joe relocated to Goshen, which would eventually become known as Masterwork Kitchens.

Over time, always going the extra mile to service clients requests, Masterwork Kitchens evolved from specializing in kitchen remodeling, to a full service design and project management firm, now known as Masterwork Home. We now transform dated kitchens and bathrooms, create beautiful expansive decks and porches, as well as complete design and remodeling.

Today, Masterwork Home is based in Campbell Hall, New York. The majority of our work over the last 40 years has been throughout the Hudson Valley, as well as New York City and Northern New Jersey. A testament to our ability to deliver results, our clients have again utilized our services when doing work on second homes in Vermont, Florida, and even as far as the Caribbean.

We are proud of our rich history through our many transformations, and we continue to maintain our business standards and design values. We still employ many of the motivated, dedicated professionals, who helped us build our reputation for quality and service.
